FPF Fuel Pressure Regulator compatible with Volvo Penta 4.3, 5.0, 5.7, 3858967
We bought the first pump it didn’t work right .
I contacted the vender they were local so i took the pump back. They replaced it with know hassle at all.
The second pump is working fine.
I’m happy with the fuel pump factory.
wrong regulator this is a 43 psi regulator vp part 3858967 is a 53 psi regulator i called your service and he told me 43 - 48 psi was acceptable i purchased the correct regulator i rely on your expertise and was misled
My 5.0 GXI engine is running awesome but am having some intermittent starting issues when warm. I replaced the factory fuel pressure regulator just to eliminate one possible cause. When I installed the FPF regulator the engine ran terrible. Seems like it was running way lean. I put the factory regulator back in and the engine runs fine again (pending intermittent starting issue).
In summary, there is something out of whack with the FPF regulator.
