Fits 2014 Honda CRF250L mostly

I bought an CRF250L that had sat with old fuel for a couple of years and had to replace the tank and the fuel pump assembly. This was the only pump out there that didn’t cost over $200, so I gave it a try. The float rod was not in the correct position or length, so I used my old one as a template and bent the new rod to the correct position and cut it down to the correct length. Everything else was a perfect fit and works perfect. I was able to clean and reuse the old gasket, but if they offered it for $20 more with a gasket, I would have bought that, too.
Unfortunately I didn’t get a picture of the float rod position prior to fixing it, but I’ll post a picture of how bad the old assembly was and I was still able to use the old gasket. The wire connections all corroded apart, the filter was clogged and the pump was seized.

Also, I installed it on the Acerbis fuel tank....never tried to install it on the OEM metal tank, but no reason to think it wouldn’t fit.

Great fit, works great, but...

Only complaint is that it did not come with a new gasket so I had to use the old one. The pump itself was super easy to install, all the connectors were correct and it works great.
